1) Flt Sgt E Trott was a W/Op AG aboard Wellington Ic Z8845. The aircraft was shot down by a night fighter of 4/NJG41, returning from a raid on Berlin on 8th September 1941. It crashed about 8 miles SSW of Drachten, Holland, with the loss of all on board. Sergeant Trott is buried in Gorredijk General Cemetery, Holland.
2) P/O B Trott was W/OP Nav aboard Lancaster III ND357. The airacft was shot down and crashed en-route to raid Brunswick, 14th January, 1944 with the loss of all on board near Kolhorn, 15 miles south of Den Helder, Holland. All of the crew are buried in the Bergen op Zoom War Cemetery.
