With the major build over with, it was now time to turn our attention to making the cairn start to look presentable. So, with the aid of a pot of paint and sacrificial brush, the exposed concrete core was given the treatment. It gave us something to do after a successful weekend with the Airfield Research Group stall at Aeroventure anyway.
It was now up to builder Russ to finish off the stonework, which is to be wrapped up over the lip, forming a border to frame the plaque (when it arrives!)
